Longtime educator Faye Jones is retiring after 39 years in Fayetteville Public Schools, Bates Elementary and Root elementary schools.
Faye was so sick that she placed a desk in front of her to keep her visitors at bay so she would not get them sick. I had to laugh, too, when I heard a friend of mine say that he thought it was an event for Fay Jones, the late architect from Fayetteville.
