Most times, when I ventured to Walker Park in Fayetteville, the overall, rundown condition of the city's baseball fields seems shocking. With all of the other projects that seem to spring up in this town, it was always surprising that the fields were not renovated years ago. The dugouts and bleachers were removed for the renovations this winter and spring, and I suspect that more improvements are on the way.
